The Studio

The Gstaad Arts Club studio is a quiet shared workspace dedicated to painting, drawing, and ceramics.

Designed for focused creative work, the space offers members a calm environment to develop ideas, experiment with materials, and work independently.

Studio sessions are intentionally limited in size to maintain a thoughtful and comfortable working atmosphere.

The Space

The studio is organized as a flexible workspace centered around a large communal work table, with additional areas for painting, drawing, and ceramics.

Natural light and simple materials create a calm environment suited to concentrated work.

Members can move easily between disciplines and use the space for independent practice during scheduled studio sessions.

Materials

The studio provides a selection of shared materials for painting and drawing, including paints, brushes, paper, and basic tools.

Members are also welcome to bring their own materials where appropriate.

The goal is to provide a well-equipped studio environment while encouraging experimentation and creative exploration.

Studio Sessions

Work in the studio takes place during scheduled open studio sessions, which can be reserved through the club’s booking system.

Sessions are limited to a small number of members to preserve a calm and focused working environment.

Members may use the time to work independently, experiment with materials, or develop ongoing projects.

A Shared Studio

The Gstaad Arts Club operates as a shared studio.

Members are encouraged to care for the space, respect fellow artists, and contribute to a thoughtful and supportive creative environment.

The studio is designed not only as a workspace, but as a place for exchange, learning, and quiet experimentation.
